DeltaWifiSucks.com (the "site") is owned and operated byWoodfire Digital LLC ("we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What this site is
A Woodfire Digital LLC product: an independent parody and consumer-commentary site about in-flight WiFi. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Delta Air Lines, Inc. "Delta" and related names and marks belong to their owners and are used here only to identify the subject of the commentary.
Jokes are jokes
Much of this site is satire. Departure boards, status messages, and "simulated" signal readings are made up for humor and aren't real measurements or claims of fact. Anything we present as real data, such as vote totals, will say so.
Using the site
- Vote honestly and at most once a day. Don't use bots, scripts, or other tricks to game votes or the suck board.
- Don't attack, overload, scrape at abusive rates, or try to break into the site.
- Don't use the site for anything illegal.
We may block access or remove votes that look automated or abusive.
Your contributions
Votes are shown only as totals. Speed test results you choose to save, including any flight number and route you enter, are shown publicly on the suck board, and you give us permission to display them. Only save tests you actually ran on the flight you name. Don't enter anyone's personal information. We may remove results that look fake, automated, or abusive.
About the speed test
The test measures the connection between your device and the nearest Cloudflare data center, using a small, capped amount of data. It's an informal measurement, not a certified one, and results depend on your device, seat, and what everyone else on the plane is streaming. The suck board ranks what travelers report. It's commentary, not an official performance statistic.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We try to keep it running, but (fittingly) we can't promise it will always be up, fast, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. That includes anything that happens because a WiFi connection did or didn't work.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and continuing to use the site means you accept the update.
